GI Joe Reloaded Update

A reminder that Icecreamman's month-long community custom project is set to wrap up in the next few days. The project brought together dozens of customizers that each created new Joe recruits. There have been some fantastic figures and vehicles created along the way. You can check out the whole project here:

Concept Colors Blowtorch Update 2

The limited run of Blowtorches is now finished painting and I managed to lower the final shipping cost to 8$ for anywhere in Canada or the continental US.

Several people have already reserved their copies, but there are still 3 left. Each copy is 25$ (+8$ for shipping). If you are interested, please email me at oreobuilder@gmail.com.

Enjoy!

Concept Colors Blowtorch Update

Here is a quick update about the concept color Blowtorch customs I posted about last week.

The project is progressing rapidly. All together, I will be making 7. The first batch of 4 have already been reserved and are scheduled to be finished by the end of this week. The last three are still available. If you are interested in buying one, simply email me at oreobuilder@gmail.com.

The price is 25$ + shipping (estimated around 10$). However, I'm looking into ways to bring down the shipping cost by a few bucks. I will post an update if my efforts are successful.

Concept Colors Blowtorch for Sale

With the 50th Anniversary line arriving at Toys R Us stores, I have bought several of the Heated Battle 2-pack. The Cobra HEAT Viper is a fun figure and I wanted a small squad. Unfortunately, that left me with a few extra Blowtorches. Rather than letting them sit in a box somewhere, I decided to paint them up into their original 1984 concept colors of tan and green as seen in the 1983 sketch below and offer them to collectors (like me) who would have prefered to get this version instead of another red and yellow one.

I have 6 available. I am asking US25$ each (via paypal please) plus 10$ for shipping for any address in the 48 US or Canada.

Each one will feature:

- Hand painted and protected by clear coat.
- Will include all the accessories, the stand and filecard
- The joints are trimmed down to decrease paint rub. I can't guarantee zero paint rub, but this technique maintains the poseability of the figure.

For delivery, I have the figures in hand and painting has started. I will start shipping them out in the next couple of weeks. I will post WIP pictures in the next few days.

Please feel free to email me at oreobuilder@gmail.com for any questions or to reserve your copy.

Thanks,

OB

Eagle Force Beta Man

After doing some Eagle Force characters last year:

Eagle Force: RIOT

I planned to keep adding to the roster. While taking a break from other projects, I threw together RIOT's Beta Man - the Arsonist. He was actually a pretty quick custom to make. I didn't paint any red, I simply mixed and matched parts from a couple of red figures. I'm pretty happy with the result.

Parts list:
Head: PoC Zartan
Torso, upperms, legs: Ret 3-pack Invasion Trooper
Lower arms: 25th TRU SRO Crimson Cobra Commander
Hands: 25th DVD Pack (3) Cobra Commander
Webgear: 25th Cobra Officer
Grenades: fodder box (they may be from 25th Snake Eyes 1989 version)
Welding mask: 30th Law (modded)
Backpack: 25th Extreme Condition Desert 7-pack
Flame-Thrower: 25th Blowtorch

Enjoy!
